Dr. David Britton
Dr. David Britton is a native of Belgreen, Alabama. He graduated from Belgreen High School and then from the University of North Alabama with BS degrees in Industrial Hygiene and Chemistry. While there he served two years as Senator of the SGA and as a leader of the Wesley Foundation Student Ministry. Dr. Britton then received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. He also served as President of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists and received the Low Vision Award.
Dr. Britton loves to watch college football, play with his children, go hunting and play golf.
Dr. Britton currently lives in Belgreen with his wife Traci, and two children Bryant and Nicole. He is a Trustee and Youth Director of Belgreen United Methodist Church. David has served on the Franklin County Democratic Executive Committee for 12 years.
In 2009, Dr. Martha was named "Alabama Optometrist of the Year." Also in 2009, she was named as the first female ever to be named as the "Optometrist of the South.” by the Southern Council of Optometrists.
Dr. Martha was appointed by the governor of Alabama to serve on the Alabama Board of Optometry for 5 years. Additionally, on the Southern Council of Optometrists, she has represented Alabama as an Ambassador for the largest regional optometrist program in the county. Recently, she was named as the Trustee for the state of Alabama to the Southern Council.
Dr. Martha loves watching football (college and pro), playing bridge, cooking, and reading mystery novels in her spare time.
Dr. Wayne Stevens is a native of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He graduated from Muscle Shoals High School before receiving his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Stevens took two years off during his undergraduate education to serve a church mission in Colombia.
While there he became fluent in Spanish and later honed those skills while studying at UAB. He earned his doctorate degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
EyeCare Professionals was established in 1974 in Russellville, Alabama. From those humble beginnings we have grown to include locations in Moulton and Red Bay, Alabama. Our mission is to provide state of the art eye care in a caring, friendly environment. We look forward to taking care of all of you eye care needs!
Dr. Stevens currently lives in Russellville with his wife Fauna, and children, Ian, Cali, Bruce, and Kate. He is a member of the Russellville Lions Club and is currently serving on the Advisory Board of Vision America of Florence. He is an avid college football fan, loves to go camping and hiking with his family,
and enjoys working on computers.

Dr. Martha served 8 years on the Southern College of Optometry Board of Trustees and was the first female to become the chairperson of the Board of Trustees. She chaired the 75th Anniversary of the Southern College of Optometry and in 2006, she was honored by Southern College of Optometry with the coveted "Lifetime Achievement Award."
Dr. Martha Morrow grew up in Fayette, Alabama. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. After graduation, she settled in Russellville where she raised her three children. Dr. Martha (as most patients call her) served as president of the Northwest Alabama Optometric Society for several years. She has also served on the Alabama Optometric Association Board of Directors and is a past president of the Alabama Optometric Association.
